New Hilton Resort and Casino Opens in Aruba
Hilton announced the opening of the Hilton Aruba Caribbean Resort and Casino in Palm Beach, Aruba. The property is located on a 15-acre (six-hectare) site, 10 miles (16 kilometers) from the capital city of Oranjestad.
The resort has 355 guestrooms and suites, each with a flat screen TV and balcony with views of the property’s gardens, pools, or the ocean. The hotel has a 24-hour fitness center and two pools, in addition to the on-site casino.
The hotel has a babysitting service and child care center, as well as over 40,000 square feet (3,716 square meters) of indoor and outdoor meeting and event space. This includes eight meeting rooms, five private, smaller rooms, and a grand ballroom, in addition to two business centers.
Dining options include Gilligan’s, an outdoor, beachfront restaurant open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner; Laguna, which offers Caribbean-inspired cuisine and is situated next to a freshwater lagoon; and Sunset Grille, the property’s signature restaurant which offers international cuisine and steak and seafood dishes. In addition, La Playa Torchlight Dinner offers guests the chance to dine on the beach with a personal server and a four-course meal, while Mira Solo is a martini and wine bar overlooking the property’s waterfalls, and offering specialty cocktails and appetizers.
In celebration of the opening, Hilton is offering members of its Hilton HHonors loyalty program 5,000 bonus points per stay through October 31, 2015.
