Air Canada Increases Flights on Upcoming Toronto-Delhi Route

DSC_4872Air Canada announced that it plans to increase the frequency of its recently announced Toronto-Delhi, India flight from four weekly flights to daily service.  The service is set to begin on November 1 of this year.

The route will be the carrier’s first to be dedicated to Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft.

Air Canada’s 787-9s are equipped with 30 lie-flat seats in business class, 21 seats in premium economy, and 247 seats in economy.  Seats in business class are 21” wide, with a pitch of 80”.

Air Canada is scheduled to take delivery of 29 new 787-9 aircraft by 2019.  The carrier already has eight Boeing Dreamliner 787-8 planes in operation.
