Virgin America Debuts New Menu Selections

IMGP3739Virgin America announced that it partnered with Dean and Deluca, a chain of upscale grocery stores, to offer a new collection of snacks in its first-class cabin. In addition, the carrier announced its new seasonal in-flight menu.

New options from Dean and Deluca in first class include caramel popcorn, spicy Cajun snack mix, raw almonds, and gummi bears.  Along with the new snack selections, Virgin America updated its first-class amenities to now offer custom designed duvets and pillows, as well as a kit with eyeshades and earplugs.

New seasonal menu items that are available in first class include offerings such as arugula, beet, and orange salad appetizers; Beef Bulgogi Bibimbap bowl with marinated beef, julienned carrots, sautéed kale, and pickled watermelon radishes, served on coconut jasmine rice; herb-roasted chicken salad with Dijon-tarragon vinaigrette; and bittersweet chocolate ganache tart.

In Virgin America’s main cabin, the airline is offering new seasonal menu items such as roast beef and cheddar sandwich on ciabatta bread; veggie wrap with black rice, faro, and edamame dressing; artisan cheese plate with white cheddar, muenster cheese, and camembert cheese served with apples, grapes, and crackers; mixed berry yogurt parfait with granola; and basil citrus turkey jerky.
