Taj Hotels announced new features and enhancements to its InnerCircle loyalty program.

Staring immediately, members can donate points to charities, and Taj will match member contributions during the first month of the program’s new features.  The hotelier said in a statement that it was adding the donation program to allow members “to give back to society by contributing towards altruistic initiatives.”

Points earned through InnerCircle also will have no blackout dates.

In addition, Taj debuted a new website and app for its InnerCircle program, with features such as a calendar of partner events and gift certificates.

Taj Hotels was founded in 1903 and is headquartered in Mumbai, India.  The company operates over 120 properties worldwide, including locations in New York, San Francisco, London, Dubai, Cape Town, and over 100 in India.
