Porter Airlines to Launch Toronto-Pittsburgh Service

DSC_0972Porter Airlines announced that it plans to introduce new service between Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport and Pittsburgh International Airport on September 21. The carrier will offer two daily flights between the cities during the week, with a varying number of flights on weekends.

Weekday flights will depart Toronto at 8:25 a.m. and 3:05 p.m., and will arrive in Pittsburgh at 9:25 a.m. and 4:05 p.m., respectively. Flights from Pittsburgh will depart at 10:05 a.m. and 4:45 a.m., arriving in Toronto at 11:05 a.m. and 5:45 p.m.

Porter Airlines will use Bombardier Q400 aircraft on the route. The planes are equipped with 74 seats in a one-class cabin. The seats, which are in a 2-2 configuration, are 17” wide, and have a pitch of 32”.

Porter Airlines was founded in 2006, and has its hub at Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport. Pittsburgh will be the carrier’s 22nd destination.
