DSC_0440 (1)The oneworld alliance announced that it will introduce new oneworld Priority branding, signage that will highlight and show travelers where in airports oneworld members can access the alliance’s various benefits, including priority check-in, security checks, lounges, and boarding.

Oneworld Priority will have designated Emerald, Sapphire, and Ruby (oneworld’s three member status tiers) symbols to help direct members to where they will receive their benefits. Airline loyalty program members of oneworld member airlines can see what their airline tier status equates to on oneworld’s website.

The benefits include: business-class check-in desks for Ruby members; business class and frequent flyer lounges when flying internationally for Sapphire members; and priority boarding lines and first- and business-class lounges when flying internationally for Emerald members.

Oneworld debuted the new signage at Perth Airport in Australia this week, and will follow with Sydney, Melbourne, Berlin Tegel Airport, and Düsseldorf in August, as well as various airports in the United States September, and Doha and Amman in October.

The airline alliance plans to roll out the new signage at all 125 of its top global airports, including all of its hubs, within the next year, followed by over 1,000 airports served by oneworld member airlines in 155 countries over the following 12 months.
