Norwegian to Launch Caribbean Routes from New York, Boston, Baltimore

DSC_0552Norwegian Airlines announced that it will launch new service to Martinique and Guadalupe in the Caribbean from New York, Boston, and Baltimore come December.

Service between New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport and Guadalupe’s Pointe-à-Pitre International Airport will operate three times a week, on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, while service between JFK and Martinique’s Aimé Césaire International Airport will operate on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.

Service from Baltimore-Washington International Airport will be offered on Tuesdays and Saturdays to Guadalupe, and on Mondays and Fridays to Martinique.  From Boston’s Logan International Airport, Norwegian will offer service to Guadalupe on Thursdays and Sundays, and to Martinique on Wednesdays and Sundays.

Norwegian will operate its Caribbean routes using Boeing 737-800 aircraft.  The one-cabin planes are equipped with 186 seats in economy, each with a width of 17.2” and a pitch of 29” to 31”.
