New Restaurant Goldfinch Tavern Opens at Four Seasons Seattle
The Four Seasons Hotel Seattle announced the opening of a new restaurant at the property.
The Goldfinch Tavern replaced the Art Restaurant & Lounge and is being managed by Ethan Stowell, a local restaurateur who has multiple restaurants in the area.
The kitchen, under the direction of Chef Joe Ritchie, currently the chef at another Stowell restaurant, mkt. (pronounced “market”), will offer Pacific Northwest cuisine using local ingredients.
The menu will focus on regional seafood, with dishes ranging from a shellfish and raw bar to Hamachi crudo with taggiasca olives, horseradish, red onion, and chervil, to garlic crusted Alaskan halibut. Other menu items will include Dungeness crab salad and king salmon tartare.
The dining room’s floor-to-ceiling windows offer diners views of Elliot Bay, the Seattle Great Wheel, and the Olympic Mountains. Goldfinch Tavern is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. It also offers a brunch on the weekend as well as a daily happy hour.
