Hyatt announced the opening of a new hotel in Jermuk, Armenia.  The Hyatt Place Jermuk is the second Hyatt property to open in the country, and the third Hyatt Place in Europe.

The property has 92 guestrooms, each with 42” HD TVs and a sofa.  Computers are available for guest use in the lobby, and the hotel has complimentary Wi-Fi access throughout.

A 24-hour fitness center is located on the premises, as well as an indoor pool, whirlpool, and sauna.  The hotel also has over 7,500 square feet (700 square meters) of meeting and event space, including six separate meeting rooms.

Guests can dine at the Gallery Café, an all-day restaurant, and the 24-hour Gallery Market offers made-to-order appetizers, salads, sandwiches, and desserts.  The hotel also has a bar with specialty coffees, beers, wines, and cocktails.

Jermuk is a mountain spa town in the southern part of Armenia.  The city is known for its hot springs and mineral water, and is a major international chess center.
