LOT Polish Airlines announced plans for new routes from its hub in Warsaw to Bangkok, Seoul, and Tokyo.

The Polish flag carrier will start non-stop service from Warsaw Chopin Airport to Narita International Airport on January 16, 2016.  It plans to launch Bangkok and Seoul in October 2016 with a frequency of two to three flights per week.

The airline will operate these flights using its new Boeing 787 Dreamliner fleet of aircraft.

In addition, LOT said it would like to turn its current flights linking Warsaw with Beijing, Chicago, New York, and Toronto into daily service.

The plans were announced at a meeting of Star Alliance-member carriers in Warsaw this week.

LOT was the first European carrier to initiate Boeing 787 Dreamliner service, having taken delivery of its first in November 2012.
