IHG Opens Hotel Indigo in Baltimore

InterContinental Hotels Group announced the opening of a new Hotel Indigo property in Baltimore, Maryland.  Located in an historic building that originally housed Baltimore’s first YMCA, the Hotel Indigo Baltimore – Mt. Vernon is the first Hotel Indigo in the state of Maryland.

The hotel has 162 guestrooms and suites, each with complimentary Wi-Fi Internet and literary-themed artwork.  The property has 112 different guestroom floor plans, as well as five bi-level suites.

A library is located in the lobby, with various works by Baltimore-based authors included among the books.

Guests can dine at the hotel’s restaurant, Poets Modern Cocktails and Eats, and a grab-and-go option is also available on the property.  A fitness center and business center are also located on the premises.

The hotel also has over 4,000 square feet (371 square meters) of meeting and event space
