DSC_0733-EDThe Hamilton Crowne Plaza Washington, D.C., an InterContinental Hotels Group property, announced the completion of an extensive renovation.  The project included the hotel’s lobby, guestrooms and suites, and meeting areas.

New design elements include Neoclassical white paneling against toned wool carpets.  In addition, original artwork and maps of Washington, D.C. are showcased throughout the hotel.

The lobby has a new chandelier, as well as a large photographic mural of Alexander Hamilton, the hotel’s namesake.  New photographs from around the city are also displayed throughout the lobby.

The rooms are outfitted with deep espresso-colored furniture, and were designed with a palate of taupe and reds.  Antique maps of Washington, D.C. are also displayed in the guestrooms, and additional artwork includes impressions of Alexander Hamilton’s signature on the pillowcases and quotes of his throughout the rooms.

The hotel’s pre-function space has new light fixtures, while the main meeting room features a new carpet and wall accents.
