Five luxury hotels in San Francisco are banding together with the Masonic, a public concert venue, in the city’s Nob Hill neighborhood to form an alternative to the typical convention center.  The Nob Hill Connection, as it is called, is comprised of the InterContinental Mark Hopkins, the Fairmont San Francisco, Stanford Court, the Scarlet Huntington, the Ritz-Carlton, San Francisco as well as the Masonic Center.

The Nob Hill Connection has over 100,000 square feet (9,290 square meters) of meeting space, enough room to accommodate more than 1,000 visitors.  All of the venues are located within walking distance from one another.

The InterContinental Mark Hopkins houses over 19,000 square feet (1,765 square meters) of meeting and event space, including two ballrooms and 17 separate meeting rooms, as well as a sky-lounge.  The Fairmont San Francisco offers over 55,000 square feet (5,109 square meters) of event space, while the Ritz-Carlton, San Francisco offers two levels of conference and boardroom spaces, as well as a 9,500-square-foot (882-square-meter) ballroom.

The Stanford Court has a business lounge, while the Scarlet Huntington has three meeting rooms and recently underwent a $15 million renovation.
