All Nippon Airways announced that it plans to launch new non-stop service between Tokyo Narita and Brussels, Belgium this winter.

The airline says that the actual start date and times of the service, as well as the aircraft type to be used on the route, will be announced later in the year.

Brussels will be the sixth non-stop destination in Europe that the carrier serves.  ANA currently offers non-stop flights from either Tokyo Narita or Tokyo Haneda to Frankfurt, Munich, Düsseldorf, London, and Paris.

Earlier this year, ANA became the first Japanese carrier to operate a Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner on international routes, when it deployed the aircraft on its Tokyo Haneda-Munich route.
