Alaska Airlines to Launch Boise-Reno Service
Alaska Airlines announced that it plans to begin new daily service between Boise, Idaho and Reno, Nevada to begin on November 5. The service will be operated by Horizon Air, using Bombardier Q400 aircraft.
Flights will depart Boise at 6:15 p.m. and arrive in Reno at 6:44 p.m. From Reno, flights will depart at 4:35 p.m. and arrive in Boise at 6:55 p.m.
The Q400s that will be used on the route are equipped with 76 seats, each with a pitch of 31” and a width of 17”.
In addition, Alaska said that it will make changes to its Los-Angeles-Loreto, Mexico route beginning in November. The carrier currently operates the service daily using Bombardier Q400s, but, beginning November 1, will begin operating flights four days a week, on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, using Boeing 737 aircraft.
