Wyndham Chongqing Yuelai Hotel Opens in Southwest China

Screen Shot 2015-05-11 at 11.35.09 AMWyndham announced the opening of a new hotel in Chongqing, in southwest China, about 198 miles (320 kilometers) southeast of Chengdu. The Wyndham Chongqing Yuelai is situated in the Chongqing International Expo Center, a 600,000-square-meter venue that hosts exhibitions, conventions, and other events.

The property offers 390 guestrooms and suites, each with an individual balcony. A heated indoor pool, spa, and fitness center are also available to guests.

The hotel hosts various dining establishments that include Yuelai, A Chinese restaurant, Asia Life, which offers Thai, Malaysian, Vietnamese, and Singaporean cuisine, and Wyndham Café, whish is open 24 hours a day. In addition, the Lobby Lounge offers cocktails, beer, and wine, while the House Bar offers cigars.

The hotel provides 12 meeting and event rooms that accommodate up to 580 people. Additionally, the hotel is connected to the Yuelai International Convention Center, which has a total of 134,548 square feet (12,500 square meters) of meeting and event space, including 57 meeting rooms and a 55,972-square-foot (5,200-square-meter) ballroom.
