Southwest to Launch Non-Stop Orlando-Washington, D.C. Service
Southwest Airlines announced that it plans to launch new daily, non-stop service between Washington Reagan National Airport and Orlando, Florida on November 1. The carrier will operate the flights using Boeing 737-700 aircraft.
Flights will depart Orlando International Airport at 1:20 p.m. and arrive at Reagan National at 3:25 p.m. Flights from Washington, D.C. to Orlando will depart at 4:00 p.m. and arrive at 6:30 p.m.
Southwest’s 737-700s are equipped with 143 seats in a one-class configuration. All seats are 17” wide, and have a pitch of 31”.
Orlando will be the airline’s third destination in Florida from Washington Reagan.
In addition, Southwest said that it will increase its daily service between Austin and Fort Lauderdale to twice daily, also on November 1 of this year.
