Singapore Airlines announced the design and specifications for its new premium economy class that will debut in August.

Each seat in the new section will have a pitch of 38”, and a width of either 18.5” or 19.5”, depending on the aircraft type. Seats will have a full leather finish, calf-rest and foot-bar, and more storage space for personal items.

Passengers will be provided noise-canceling headphones and each seat will be equipped with a 13.3” HD display, AC power outlets and two USB ports.

Passengers in the new premium economy section will be offered the Premium Economy Book the Cook service, which allows flyers to place an advance order for in-flight main course meals. Premium Economy-class passengers will receive priority check-in, while members of Singapore Airlines’ KrisFlyer loyalty program will receive 10% additional miles when traveling in the carrier’s premium economy section.

Singapore Airlines will install the new section on 19 Airbus A380s, 19 Boeing 777-300ERs, and 20 Airbus A350s. It will debut on August 9 on the carrier’s flights to Sydney, followed by flights to destinations including Beijing, Delhi, Hong Kong, Frankfurt, London, Mumbai, New York, Shanghai, Tokyo, and Zurich.
