Norwegian to Launch Flights From Edinburgh and Birmingham to Canary Islands

DSC_0569Norwegian Air Shuttle announced that it will begin three new routes this year from Edinburgh and Birmingham to destinations in the Spanish Canary Islands.  The carrier will operate the new flights using Boeing 737-800 aircraft.

On October 29, the airline will launch service from Edinburgh to Tenerife, the largest of Spain’s Canary Islands.  The service will operate twice a week, on Thursdays and Saturdays.

The carrier will then begin service from Birmingham to Tenerife on November 2, set to operate twice a week on Mondays and Fridays.

This will be followed on November 6 by service from Birmingham to Las Palmas on Gran Canaria, the most populated of the Canary Islands.  Flights will operate once a week, on Mondays.

Norwegian’s 737-800s are configured in a single economy cabin with 186 seats.  All seats are 17.2” wide, with a pitch of 29” to 31”.
