Marriott announced the opening of a new JW Marriott hotel in Mumbai, India. Located less than a mile from Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport, the JW Marriott Hotel Mumbai Sahar is the second JW Marriott property to open in the city.

The property is situated on 15 acres (6 hectares) of land, and has 585 guestrooms.  Each room has LCD TVs and marble bathrooms, and guests have access to 24-hour room service.

Approximately 56,000 square feet (5,202 square meters) of indoor and outdoor meeting and event space is located on the premises, including nine event rooms and a grand ballroom.  The hotel also has a spa and fitness center, as well as a sauna and outdoor pool.

Guests can dine at Romano’s, an Italian restaurant, as well as JW Café, which offers Punjabi and South Indian dishes, in addition to Japanese, Thai, and Western cuisine.  The hotel’s JW Lounge offers cocktails and drinks, and pastries, cakes, breads, and sandwiches are available at the JW Baking Company.

Shuttle service to the airport is available upon request.
