InterContinental Hotels Group announced that it will open a new Hotel Indigo in downtown Los Angeles, California, in winter 2016.

The 18-story Hotel Indigo Downtown Los Angeles will offer 350 rooms, and have artwork, food, and photographs inspired by the local community and history.

The property will be part of Metropolis, a $1 billion mixed-use development that will also include three residential towers and retail venues.

InterContinental Hotels Group plans to open new Hotel Indigo properties in Denver, Colorado, and Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, in the near future, as well as one in Bath, United Kingdom and two in Dubai.
