Marriott Opens AC Hotel Washington, D.C. at National Harbor

DSC_0757Marriott announced the opening of the AC Hotel Washington, D.C. at National Harbor.  The property is the third of Marriott’s AC hotels brand to open in the United States.

Located on the Potomac River, the eight-story hotel offers 192 guestrooms and suites.  Rooms have a neutral color palette, glass-enclosed showers, and complimentary Wi-Fi.

The property provides 3,700 square feet (343 square meters) of meeting and event space, including three meeting rooms.  A fitness center is also located on the premises.

Guests can dine at the AC Kitchen, which is open for breakfast, and features European-inspired cuisine.  In addition, the AC Lounge offers Spanish tapas in the evening, as well as cocktails, wine, and beer.

The hotel sports a nautical theme, with artwork inspired by boats on the Potomac River, as well as other maritime pieces.
