DSC_0749LOT Polish Airlines announced that it is no longer selling tickets through consumer websites run by travel company Orbitz.

LOT and Orbitz had been working together over the past few months, “hoping to reach a deal which would benefit Orbitz consumers,” said Jim Marek, sales and distribution executive director at LOT.  However, a deal could not be reached, and the two companies did not renew their partnership agreement.

LOT tickets already purchased through Orbitz will still be valid for travel.

Passengers will be able to continue purchasing tickets through the carrier’s website and mobile app, as well as through travel agents and a variety of other websites that sell airline tickets.
