JetBlue to Link Mexico City with Fort Lauderdale and Orlando

DSC_1564JetBlue Airways announced that it will launch new service to Mexico City from both Fort Lauderdale and Orlando, Florida on October 1.  The carrier will operate both routes daily, using Airbus A320 aircraft.

Flights from Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport will depart at 8:38 p.m. and arrive at Mexico City International Airport at 11:05 p.m.  Flights from Mexico City to Fort Lauderdale will depart at 5:35 a.m. and arrive at 9:47 a.m.

From Orlando International Airport, flights will depart at 8:43 p.m. and arrive in Mexico City at 11:15 p.m.  Flights from Mexico City to Orlando will depart at 5:35 p.m. and arrive at 9:56 a.m.

JetBlue’s Airbus A320s are configured with 42 seats in Even More Space, the carrier’s premium economy lite section, and 108 seats in coach.  Premium economy lite-seats are 17.8” wide, and have a pitch of 38” to 39”.

Mexico City will be JetBlue’s 35th destination in Latin America and the Caribbean, and its second in Mexico.
