JetBlue to Link Fort Lauderdale with Quito, Ecuador

IMGP4661JetBlue Airways announced that it will launch new flights to Quito, Ecuador from Fort Lauderdale, Florida early next year.

The carrier will operate the flights between Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport and Mariscal Sucre International Airport once a day.

JetBlue will use Airbus A320 aircraft on the route.  The planes are configured with 42 seats in Even More Space, the airline’s premium economy lite section, and 108 seats in coach.  Premium economy lite-seats are 17.8” wide, and have a pitch of 38” to 39”.

The service is still subject to government approval.

JetBlue currently offers non-stop flights to 37 destinations from Fort Lauderdale.
