Volaris to Link Los Angeles with León, Mexico

Low-cost Mexican carrier Volaris announced that it plans to launch new service between Los Angeles and León, Mexico on June 8.  The airline will operate the service four times a week.

Flights will depart Los Angeles International Airport at 11:20 a.m. and arrive at Del Bajío International Airport in León at 4:20 p.m.  From León, flights will depart at 8:30 a.m. and arrive in Los Angeles at 10:00 a.m.

León is a city in Guanajuato, Mexico, about four and a half hours northwest of Mexico City.  The airline currently operates 40 flights a week from Del Bajío International Airport.

Volaris operates 136 routes between Mexico and the United States, the most of any carrier, serving 59 destinations in the U.S.
