Norwegian Begins London Gatwick-Orlando Route

DSC_0555Norwegian Air Shuttle announced the launch of new non-stop service between London Gatwick and Orlando, Florida.  The carrier will operate the service once a week, using Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft.

Flights depart London Gatwick at 3:40 p.m. on Saturdays, and arrive at Orlando International Airport at 7:50 p.m. the same day Flights from Orlando to London depart at 9:35 p.m., also on Saturdays, and arrive at 10:50 a.m. the next day.

Norwegian’s Dreamliners are outfitted with 32 seats in premium economy and 259 in economy.  Premium economy-class seats are 19” wide, with a pitch of 46”, while economy-class seats are 17.2” wide, and have a pitch of 31” to 32”.

Last week, Norwegian began service between Orlando and Copenhagen. The carrier also began operations at England’s Birmingham Airport, with service to Madrid and Malaga, Spain in the past week.
