Nomo SoHo Hotel Opens in Manhattan
NoMo SoHo, a new independent luxury hotel, has officially opened in New York City. It was formerly known as the Mondrian SoHo, which was sold in a foreclosure sale in June of last year. It was previously a Morgans Hotel Group property.
The hotel is located at 9 Crosby Street in downtown Manhattan. The name “NoMo” is an abbreviation for nostalgic and modern.
The property has 263 guestrooms and suites, each with floor-to-ceiling windows. Suites also offer private balconies.
NoMo Restaurant is a 5,000-square-foot (464-square-meter) conservatory with floor-to-ceiling windows, numerous plants, and a hanging sculpture by artist Beth Lipman. It features a variety of seasonal menu items and is available for private events. NoMo Bar has live music and visiting DJs with a variety of cocktails and an extensive wine list.
