New Hyatt Place Hotel Opens in Washington, D.C.

DSC_0317Hyatt announced the opening of the Hyatt Place Washington, D.C./Downtown/K Street hotel.  The property is located two blocks from the White House, within walking distance of such attractions as the National Mall, the Smithsonian Institution, and the Kennedy Center.

The hotel’s 164 guestrooms each have 42” HD TVs and sofas.  Complimentary Wi-Fi Internet is available throughout the property.

Guests have access to a complimentary breakfast as well as a 24-hour gallery menu featuring made-to-order entrées and appetizers.  The hotel also hosts a bar serving specialty coffees and beers, as well as wine and cocktails.

The property provides 4,000 square feet (471 square meters) of meeting and event space, including four meeting rooms and a 1,200-square-foot (111-square-meter) rooftop space.  A 24-hour fitness center is also located on the premises.
