JetBlue to Link Albany with Orlando, Fort Lauderdale

Routes Will Be Airline’s First-Ever Flights from New York Capital City

DSC_5013JetBlue Airways announced that it plans to launch new, daily service from Albany, New York to both Orlando and Fort Lauderdale, Florida on December 10.  The flights will be JetBlue’s first operations at Albany International Airport.

Flights will depart Albany at 4:45 p.m. and arrive at Orlando International Airport at 7:54 p.m.  From Orlando, flights will depart at 1:20 p.m. and arrive in the New York state capital at 4:00 p.m.

Flights from Albany to Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport will depart at 12:50 p.m. and arrive at 4:06 p.m.  From Fort Lauderdale to Albany, flights will depart at 9:14 a.m. and arrive at 12:07 p.m.

The airline will operate both routes using Airbus A320 aircraft.  The planes are configured with 42 seats in Even More Space, the airline’s premium economy lite section, and 108 seats in coach.  Premium economy lite-seats are 17.8” wide, and have a pitch of 38” to 39”.

In celebration of the new operations at Albany International, JetBlue is offering one-way fares of $16.86, to commemorate the year, 1686, that Albany was incorporated as a city.  Tickets must be purchased by April 6, for travel between December 10 and December 17, 2015.
