InterContinental Hotels Group announced that it plans to open the Hotel Indigo Denver in the winter of 2016.  The property will be the first Hotel Indigo in the state of Colorado.

The hotel is to be located in Union Tower West, a mixed-use development that will also include office and retail space, situated adjacent to Denver Union Station in the city’s downtown.

The property will offer 180 rooms, as well as a bar and restaurant.  Art and photography inspired by the surrounding area will be displayed throughout the hotel.

A fitness center, business center, and approximately 1,950 square feet (181 square meters) of meeting and event space will be located on the premises.

The hotel will feature the brand’s Neighborhood Guide, a touchscreen display that allows guests to retrieve information about the surrounding area, as well as other Hotel Indigo properties around the world.
