Hilton Barra Rio de Janeiro Opens in Brazil

Hilton announced the opening of the Hilton Barra Rio de Janeiro hotel in Brazil.  The property is the first Hilton hotel to be located in the Brazilian city.

The nine-story hotel offers 298 guestrooms and suites, each with LED TVs and minifridges.  The property also hosts a 24-hour fitness center, as well as a rooftop pool.

The hotel provides approximately 14,000 square feet (1,300 square meters) of meeting and event space, including 10 meeting rooms and two ballrooms.  A 24-hour business center is also located on the premises.

Guests can dine at the hotel’s restaurant, which is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.  A champagne house is also located on the rooftop of the property.

In celebration of the opening, the Hilton Barra Rio de Janeiro is offering members Of Hilton’s HHonors loyalty program 1,000 HHonors points each night for stays through September 1.
