Delta to Link Atlanta with Medellin and Cartagena, Colombia
Delta Air Lines announced it will begin new service between Atlanta and both Medellin and Cartagena, Colombia on December 19. Service to Medellin will be daily, while flights to Cartagena will operate three times a week.
Medellin-bound flights from Atlanta will depart at 5:30 p.m. and arrive at 10:10 p.m. Flights to Atlanta will depart Medellin at 7:40 a.m. and arrive at 12:54 p.m.
Delta will operate flights to Medellin using Boeing 737-700 aircraft, equipped with 124 seats, including 12 in first class, 18 in economy comfort, the carrier’s premium economy lite section, and 94 in economy. First-class seats are 21” wide, and have a pitch of 37”.
Flights from Atlanta to Cartagena will depart at 9:45 a.m. on Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays, and arrive at 1:50 p.m. From Cartagena, flights will depart at 2:50 p.m., also on Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays, and will arrive in Atlanta at 7:10 p.m.
Delta will use Boeing 737-800 planes on the Atlanta-Cartagena route. The aircraft are equipped with 16 seats in first class, 18 seats in economy comfort, and 126 seats in economy. Seats in first class are 21” wide, with a pitch of 38”.
