After a longer nap (with a flight duration of 10 hours, there was ample time for sleep), I awakened to the sounds of the final meal service, a chicken Parmesan hero, my choice, or a smoked chicken and ham salad.

We arrived at 2:05 p.m., half an hour early, after ten hours and 18 minutes block to block and nine hours 57 minutes aloft. Delta invites its business-class passengers to exit the aircraft first and I was in the immigration hall at the Global Entry kiosk within minutes. The combination of very good food and service as well as an early arrival was the culmination of my first visit to Russia. When you add in the friendly crew and my being in my favorite seat, 1A, made for a very pleasant trip. (Photos: Accura Media Group)
