The partnership will initially focus on connection opportunities in Orlando and Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood, with plans to expand the agreement later this year to include 13 Silver Airways routes to the Bahamas, subject to regulatory approval.

Under the terms of the agreement, JetBlue customers will be able to purchase a single ticket covering flights on both airlines as well as automatic baggage transfer between flights.  Members of JetBlue’s TrueBlue frequent flyer program will earn points on all codeshare flights.

Initial routes covered by the codeshare include flights linking Key West  to Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood, Orlando, Fort Myers, and Tampa, and flights linking Orlando with Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood and Fort Myers

Founded in 2010, Silver Airways operates more flights within Florida than any other airline.  It operates a fleet of 27 34-seat Saab 340B Plus turbo-prop aircraft.
