Hyatt Place Opens in Downtown Columbia

Hyatt Hotels announced the opening of the Hyatt Place Columbia/Downtown/The Vista in Columbia, South Carolina. Columbia is the state’s capital and largest city.

The new hotel has 130 guestrooms, each with a Hyatt Grand Bed, a sectional sofa, a small refrigerator, and free Internet access. Guests have access to remote printing and Wi-Fi throughout the property, and guestrooms feature hard-wired Ethernet access to the Internet.

The hotel provides more than 2,000 square feet (186 square meters) of meeting and function space with a variety of audiovisual equipment available.

Breakfast is complimentary for all guests and includes fresh fruit, hot and cold cereal, yogurt, breads, a variety of hot and cold beverages, and breakfast sandwiches, such as Santa Fe bagel with egg, cheese, and spicy mayo and tomato, and a Sunrise Croissant with sliced turkey, cheese, guacamole and tomato. The hotel’s signature sandwich, a potato roll with egg, Gouda cheese, and bacon, is also served.

The Hyatt Place Columbia/Downtown/The Vista houses a 24-hour gym with Life Fitness cardio equipment as well as an indoor saltwater pool.

The hotel is located in the Vista, a dining and shopping area near the city’s business district.
