Alaska Airlines announced that it will begin new twice-daily non-stop flights between Boise, Idaho and Spokane, Washington on August 24.  The flights will be operated by Horizon Air, using Bombardier Q400 aircraft equipped with 76 seats.

Flights will depart Boise at 6:20 a.m. and 7:25 p.m., and will arrive in Spokane at 6:29 a.m. and 7:34 p.m., respectively.  From Spokane, flights will depart at 6:20 a.m. and 3:20 p.m., and will arrive in Boise at 8:28 a.m. and 5:28 p.m.

In celebration of the new route, Alaska is offering one-way fares starting at $69 through March 26, for travel completed by November 18.  In addition, members of Alaska Airlines’ Mileage Plan will be able to earn double miles on the route between August 24 and September 24.

Spokane will be the eighth destination Alaska serves from Boise, after Seattle, San Diego, San Jose, Sacramento, Salt Lake City, Portland, and Lewiston, Idaho.
