Air France-KLM Places $764 Million Order with Embraer

DSC_0659Air France-KLM Group announced that it placed an order for 15 Embraer

E175s and two E190s.  The order is valued at an estimated $764 million based on current list prices.

The aircraft will be operated by KML’s regional subsidiary, KLM Cityhopper.  The deal also includes options for 17 additional E-Jets, which will be used by either KLM Cityhopper or Air France’s regional subsidiary Hop If they are purchased.

KLM Cityhopper’s E175s and E190s will both have an all-coach single-class layout.

The first E190 will be delivered to the airline by the end of this year, while the first E175 is expected to be delivered in the first half of 2016.
