Sunrise Kempinski Hotel Beijing Opens in China
Kempinski Hotels announced the opening of a new property in Beijing. The Sunrise Kempinski Hotel, Beijing is located on Yanqi Island, in the center of Yanqi Lake at the foot of the Yan Mountains.
The property is part of a larger development that includes a total of 14 hotels, 14,069 square feet (1,307 square meters) of meeting and event space, a conference center, 14 restaurants and bars, 14 spas, a private marina, and a nine-story pagoda.
The hotel has 306 guestrooms and suites, ranging in size from 430 to 3,638 square feet (40 to 338 square meters). Guests can choose from nine dining options at the hotel, including: Elements, an all-day restaurant with a buffet; Paulaner Bräuhaus, a microbrewery that serves German beer and Bavarian dishes; the View’s Bar, a venue located on the top floor offering cocktails, wine, whiskey, and a selection of Cuban cigars; and the Tea House, featuring fine teas.
The property has a 19,913-square-foot (1,850-square-meter) grand ballroom that can be divided into three separate spaces, as well as a 12,916-square-foot (1,200-square-meter) pre-function space, and 12 meeting rooms. The hotel also has a spa, fitness center, outdoor tennis courts, a pool, saunas, steam rooms, and hot and cold plunge pools.
In addition, the Kids Club service offers babysitting service, as well as activities for the children such as swimming lessons and face painting.
