Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts announced the opening of a new property in Honggutan, the central business district of Nanchang, China.  The Shangri-La Hotel, Nanchang is located on the Gangjiang River, approximately 30 minutes from Changbei International Airport.

The hotel has 473 guestrooms and suites, ranging in size from 484 to 1,603 square feet (45 to 149 square meters).  The rooms are decorated with Chinese paintings on the carpet, and Wi-Fi is complimentary.

The property has various dining options, including Café Hong, an all-day restaurant featuring Indian and Chinese dishes, Zi Yu Xuan, a Chinese restaurant specializing in Cantonese and Gan cuisine, and the Lobby Lounge, which offers snacks and beverages as well as live entertainment.

The new Shangri-La also has a fitness center, a beauty salon and shop, and an indoor pool, Jacuzzi, and steam and sauna rooms.  In addition, the hotel has 41,763 square feet (3,880 square meters) of meeting and event space, including a grand ballroom, junior ballroom, and five function rooms.
