New Ritz-Carlton Resort Opens in Bali

Ritz-Carlton announced the opening of the Ritz-Carlton, Bali resort.  The hotel is located in Sawangan, Nusa Dua, in the southern part of the island.

The property is situated on approximately 31 acres (13 hectares) of beachfront and cliff-top land.  The resort has 313 guestrooms, including 34 villas.

Six restaurants and lounges are located on the premises, including Raku, a sushi restaurant; the Beach Grill, a beachfront venue featuring fresh seafood; Breezes, a beachfront bar serving tapas for lunch and dinner; Senses, an all-day restaurant; and the Ritz-Carlton Lounge and Bar, which serves small dishes and evening cocktails.  In addition, Bejana, an Indonesian restaurant, is slated to open in the first quarter of this year.

The hotel also has a fitness and business center, as well as Ritz Kids, a dedicated building for children, with study spaces and a private pool.  Various meeting and event spaces can accommodate up to 200 people, and a beachfront wedding chapel is located on the property.

The hotel also said that it plans open a spa in the second quarter of the year.
