JetBlue Airways announced that it plans to launch new non-stop seasonal service between Washington, D.C. and Nantucket, Massachusetts this summer.  The carrier will operate the service three times a week, between June 19 and September 6, with additional flights added for the Fourth of July weekend.

Flights will depart Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport at 3:40 p.m. on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, and arrive at Nantucket Memorial Airport at 5:13 p.m.  Flights from Nantucket to Washington will depart at 5:50 p.m. and arrive at 7:31 p.m. on the same days.

Nantucket will be the 12th non-stop destination that JetBlue serves from Reagan National.

The carrier recently began new service from the Washington airport to Fort Myers, West Palm Beach, and Jacksonville, Florida.
