American Airlines to Become Official Airline of Los Angeles Clippers
American Airlines, the world’s largest airline, announced it has become the official airline of the Los Angeles Clippers basketball team.
The Fort Worth-based airline signed a multi-year contract with the team, which places the airline’s logo on the court during home games. American will also be a featured sponsor on television and radio broadcasts. Customers and employees will have an opportunity to participate in events with the Clippers during the basketball season.
The Clippers are the National Basketball Association’s Pacific Division champions and have played in Los Angeles for over 20 years.
American is the largest airline at Los Angeles International Airport. It currently operates more than 200 flights per day to 55 destinations across the globe. It is the only carrier that offers three-class transcon flights from LAX to New York and its A321 aircraft have fully lie-flat seats in the first- and business-class cabins.
