JetBlue Airways announced that it plans to launch new daily, non-stop flights between New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport and Nevada’s Reno-Tahoe International Airport on May 28.  The service will be the first non-stop to the Nevada airport from the East Coast.

Flights will depart New York at 7:40 p.m. and arrive in Reno at 11:07 p.m.  From Reno, flights will depart at 11:59 p.m. and arrive in New York at 8:09 a.m. the next morning.

In celebration of the new route, the New York-based airline is offering introductory fares of $89 for one-way tickets purchased by January 14, for travel between May 28 and June 17, 2015.

Earlier this month, JetBlue began service between San Francisco and Las Vegas.  In addition, the carrier plans to launch new flights between Portland, Oregon and Anchorage, Alaska, on June 18 of this year.
