JetBlue Plans Summer Seasonal Service Between Portland and Anchorage

DSC_0670JetBlue Airways announced that it plans to launch new non-stop seasonal service between Portland, Oregon and Anchorage, Alaska this summer.  The airline will operate the service daily between June 18 and September 8, using Airbus A320 aircraft.

Flights will depart Portland International Airport at 8:49 p.m. and arrive at Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport at 11:29 p.m.  Flights from Anchorage will depart at 11:59 p.m. and arrive in Portland at 4:35 a.m. the next day.

The carrier’s A320 cabins are configured with 42 seats in Even More Space, JetBlue’s premium economy lite section, and 108 seats in coach.  Premium economy lite-seats are 17.8” wide, and have a pitch of 38” to 39”.

Anchorage will be JetBlue’s fourth non-stop destination from Portland, along with Boston, Long Beach, and New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport.  From Anchorage, the carrier also offers non-stop summer seasonal service to Long Beach, California, and Seattle, Washington.
