WestJet Sees Increase in November Traffic

WestJet announced operational results for November 2014.

System traffic for the month was 1.656 billion revenue passenger miles, or RPMs, a year-over-year increase of 8% from 1.533 billion in November 2013.

Capacity also increased, up by 6.9% to 2.056 billion available seat miles, or ASMs, from 1.923 billion last year.

The Calgary-based airline reported a load factor of 80.5%, a rise of 0.8 percentage points from 79.7% in November 2013.
