Qantas Debuts New Lounge at LAX

IMGP4722Qantas announced the opening of a new Qantas First Lounge at Los Angeles International Airport on Thursday.

The lounge is outfitted with Carrara marbled floors and Tai Ping wool carpets from Hong Kong, and has American oak walls.

A 74-seat restaurant and bar is also located inside the lounge, and offers a seasonal menu with items like Black Angus steak with chipotle butter and lime, as well as Mexican, Korean, and Italian cuisine, and selections from the airline’s First Lounges in Sydney and Melbourne.  Signature cocktails and individually prepared small dishes are also available.

The lounge also has wireless Internet, wireless printing, cable TV, two private work suites, and seven shower suites.   In addition, first-class passengers will receive personalized service, including dedicated check-in and fast-track immigration.
