JetBlue Airways announced the launch of new service between New York and Curaçao, an island in the south Caribbean.  The airline operates the service two times a week, using Airbus A320 aircraft.

Flights depart New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport at 9:00 a.m. on Tuesdays and Saturdays, and arrive at Curaçao International Airport at 2:34 p.m.  Flights from Curaçao depart at 3:45 p.m. and arrive in New York at 7:30 p.m., also on Tuesdays and Saturdays.

The carrier’s A320s are outfitted with 42 seats in Even More Space, JetBlue’s premium economy lite section, and 108 seats in coach.  Premium economy lite-seats are 17.8” wide, and have a pitch of 38” to 39”.

Curaçao is JetBlue’s 26th destination in the Caribbean from the New York area.  The carrier offers 56 daily non-stop flights from JFK and Newark Liberty to the Caribbean.
