Hawaiian Airlines to Bring Back Some Seasonal California Routes

Hawaiian Airlines announced it will re-launch its summer seasonal service from both Los Angeles and Oakland, California, to the Hawaiian cities of Kalaoa and Lihue next year.  In addition, the carrier said it would add a second daily flight to its summer seasonal Los Angeles-Kahului, Maui service.

Beginning May 20, and running through August 24, 2015, Hawaiian will offer service between Los Angeles International Airport and Kona International Airport in Kalaoa on the island of Hawai’i.  Flights will depart Los Angeles at 8:00 a.m. on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays, and will arrive in Kalaoa at 10:40 a.m., with flights from Kalaoa departing at 12:20 p.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays, and arriving in Los Angeles 8:30 p.m.

Hawaiian’s service between Los Angeles and Lihue will depart Los Angeles at 8:00 a.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, and will arrive at Lihue Airport on the island of Kaua’i at 10:45 a.m.  Flights from Lihue to Los Angeles are scheduled to depart at 12:10 p.m. on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Sundays, and arrive at 8:30 p.m.  The service will begin on May 21, and last through September 9, 2015.

Service between Oakland and Kalaoa will begin on May 21, and will run through August 24 of next year. Flights will depart Oakland International Airport at 8:00 a.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays, and arrive at Kona International Airport at 10:15 a.m., while flights from Kona International to Oakland will depart at 12:20 p.m. on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Sundays, arrive at 8:25 p.m.

Flights from Oakland to Lihue will depart at 8:00 a.m. on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays, and will arrive at 10:30 a.m.  From Lihue, flights will depart at 12:15 p.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays, and will arrive in Oakland at 8:30 p.m.  The service will run from May 20 through September 8, 2015.

Hawaiian’s additional service between Los Angeles and Maui will depart Los Angeles at 1:30 pm. And arrive at Kahului Airport at 4:00 p.m., with flights from Kahului to Los Angeles departing at 9:40 p.m. and arriving at 5:50 a.m. the next day.  Flights will begin on June 11 and run through September 8, 2015.
