Etihad Launches Abu Dhabi-Dallas Flights

Etihad Airways announced the start of new service between Abu Dhabi and Dallas, Texas on Wednesday.  The carrier will operate the service three times a week, using Boeing 777-200LR aircraft.

Flights depart Abu Dhabi International Airport at 10:10 a.m. on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, and arrive at Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport at 4:50 p.m. the same day.  From Dallas/Fort Worth, flights depart at 6:50 p.m., also on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, and arrive in Abu Dhabi at 8:00 p.m. the following day.

Etihad operates the flights using Boeing 777-200LRs, configured with eight seats in first class, 40 seats in business class, and 177 seats in economy class.

The airline plans to increase the service to daily flights on April 16, 2015.

Dallas is the airline’s sixth destination in the United States, joining New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Washington, D.C.
